An esteemed entrepreneur and investor in the residential and commercial real estate space, Faris sprung his entrepreneurial spirit on the fast-food industry in 1986 when he built his first restaurant; then became a founder of a fast-food franchise. Faris owned and operated seventeen restaurants across southern California and Arizona, accomplishing this while investing in service stations and an industrial factory.

Faris then turned his entrepreneurial interests toward real estate, obtaining his Salesperson license in Real Estate in 2002 and becoming an RE Broker in 2006. He then formed his own residential and commercial real estate firm, IQ Realty & Lending in 2006. Faris also enjoys working as a consultant for Real Estate and business opportunities, while giving to causes and charities close to his heart that improve the livelihoods of families and elevate the value of the human person, helping to ensure the betterment of society.

Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Faris graduated high school and finished one year of medical school in his native homeland, before migrating to the United States in 1981. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego, UCSD, earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Faris married in 1989 and has three beautiful daughters, Julia, who has made him a proud grandfather, Megan, graduated as an optometrist, and Jasmine, who is a senior at UCSD. Faris is a national of the United States and speaks Arabic and English fluently.
